Gatorade wanted to tout its efficacy to endurance athletes and build more equity for the G-Series before, during, and after line of sports drinks.
Endurance athletes interested in performance go to a number of different sites in order to keep up on the latest trends in training. These athletes also go to talk about upcoming road races and triathlons.
With a media plan based on the insight, We created rich media ads targeted at these athletes. Appearing on sites such as Runners World, Amateur Endurance, and Men’s Fitness, the ads explained the benefits of the product and show them exactly what races and triathlons, nationwide, Gatorade was sponsoring that year. These ads proved incredibly effective, yielding much higher than normal interactivity.
