Chevron’s program to promote STEM, science technology engineering and math, only included an on-premise hands-on tent experience at USGA events. Our challenge was to bring this experience online in an engaging way for a young audience.
Education is more accessible when it’s playful and fun. The parallax effect many sites take advantage of is a perfect vehicle for an experience of educational exploration.
Knowing that Chevron would be expanding it’s STEM program to other sports, we chose the one sport they already had a sponsorship presence in: golf. We created an experience based on scrolling that would take a viewer from tee-off to the putting green all while touching upon some of the basic physics of the sport.
